Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, the yougest daugter of Willian Mebarak and Nidia Ripoll sh was born in barranquilla (colombia), in february 2, 1977. Shakira means; woman full of grace and it have from arabic language. 

Shakira starded in the word of music at age 5, and she produeced more that 40 songs of her own, when she had 10 years old, she parcipated in a chilgdre¨ns contest where she winnen firt prize and this was the staming point of her successful career as a singer.

At age 14, she started to sing as a professional. 

 In 1991 she had with this album named "Magia" and with this album she started to travel all over, the world.

 After two years, she produced her secod album "Peligro"  which become a success, too.And from them on, shakira is considered one of the best international singers.
